Milford Center Labor Day Darby Dash Festival
September 1st - 3rd 2023
THURSDAY AUG. 31 UPDATES:
Attention: If you plan to register for the 5K, Kayak Race, or the Bike Race, you must visit the information booth on SIDE A to register. Please do not show up to the starting line of the events or you will be unable to compete in the event. Participants will meet @ 153 E State St. Transportation will be provided by LIFEWISE bus to the event start location.
Update #2: Due to an inadequate number of team signups, we unfortunately have to cancel the Softball Tournament for the weekend.
However, due to the influx in Cornhole Tournament signups, we will be moving the Cornhole Tournament from Bicentennial Park to softball field A on Side A. Also, reminder that the Cornhole Tournament registration and check-in are from 9:00am-12:00pm with the tournament beginning at 12:00pm. The tournament is DOUBLE ELIMINATION and 1st place earns $60.00 and 2nd place earns $40.00.
Update #3: The BEER GARDEN is now open @ 6pm.
Update #4: Youth Activities @ BICENTENNIAL PARK...Earn tickets for our BIKE giveaways on 9-2 and 9-3. Drawings are @ 6pm. Football & BB Activities, Frisbee toss, Scouts crafts, Coloring station, Health Dept. booth, ODNR booth - Free Play Games, Face Painting & Tattoos, and Touch A Truck are also available!
Update #5 - Side "A" Festival Food Trucks: Guelaguetza, Graeter's Ice Cream, Zapatas, Mother Truck' n Tasty, Tortilla Street Food, Fancy Feeding You, JP Special, Tripple P BBQ on side "A".
Side "B" Food Trucks: Forte Grille Catering, Lile's Ice Cream, Bitch'n Kitchen, AHA Waffles, Kona Shaved Ice (times vary).
Among all the other great food trucks, Schmidt's Sausage Truck will be in attendance on Side "A" featuring cream puffs, including Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip. Their full menu can be viewed at https://streetfoodfinder.com/sausagetruck.
NEW: Please join us and the Fairbanks Marching Band @4:30pm on Friday (9/1) for a pregame show before the panthers take on Cedarville. The band will be playing at the Union Township Fire Department in Milford Center and this will be a wonderful kickoff to the weekend festivities.

Cornhole TournamentThis is a partner Cornhole Tournament for Saturday 9/2/23. This tournament is part of the 2023 Milford Center Labor Day Darby Dash Festival. Teams can get the early-bird special by signing up via this form for $20.00, or teams may signup upon arrival on tournament day for $25.00. This form will be open until midnight August 31st. If your team does not fill out the form prior to August 31st, then you must sign up upon arrival to the Cornhole Tournament on September 2nd. The fee of $20.00 covers both members of the team. Reminder, all proceeds outside of the tournament winnings go to The Village of Milford Center's Parks & Recreation Fund housed at the Union County Foundation.
